Amphibious She Creature

After looking at footages of underwater creatures such as snails and octopus, this image came into my head. It took some time to experiment with the skin pigment patterns until I was satisfied. What also inspired me were frogs and other amphibian creatures from nature.
I imagine this creature is in mid mutation. She's neither innocent looking nor evil looking, although she is slowly giving in and accepting her new form. Being a victim herself I try to give a subtle feeling of sadness in her eyes. She is a maid, servant, performer, for a gang of mutants, she is forced to do thing she doesn't want to do.
This image is done is a few different layers; background, the sketch of the creature, highlights and shadows, clothing, skin patches, eyes and highlights. It took 16 hours to finish, most of the time is spent on experimenting with different lighting.

Another she creature, I imagine poison or toxic plants when drawing her, the poison soaked into her skin pigment, because the pattern is rather symmetrical it meant that she has full control of its spreads and can use it as her weapon.
Had a lot of fun playing the highlights and shadows, clothing, skin patches, eyes and highlights. All done in photoshop.
